On the 24th of July 2008, Moody's confirmed its “AA3” rating of the financial strength of the insurance companies Coface S.A and Coface Kreditversicherung AG (Germany), Coface Assicurazioni Spa (Italy) and Coface North America Insurance Company (United States). The perspective of this rating is “stable outlook”.

Coface assigned "A+" (stable outlook) by Standard & Poor's
On the 27th of October 2008, Standard & Poor's decided to review the financial strength rating of Coface and its main subsidiaries from "AA-" (negative outlook) to "A+" (stable outlook). This downgrading change is a direct consequence of Natixis, Caisses d’Epargne et de Prévoyance (CNCE) and Banque Fédérale des Banques Populaires (BFBP) one.
